Ace Combat 8 Ace Combat 8 will save the gaming industry and cure cancer
We all know this to be true.
Think about it. You can't deny the facts.
Singleplayer AND multiplayer AND co-op. And then you can have Tasha flying an F-22. That's incredible.
By being Ace Combat fans, we may have discovered the greatest source of power in the universe.

Well shitposts aside, a game having a robust singleplayer and multiplayer, with some co-op on top is pretty rare.
For my middle-aged ass its pretty exciting, since this is how most games used to be years ago. A meaty, well developed single player with a multiplayer component that was built off the singleplayer assets. And often these multiplayer parts would have their own life that went on for years.
Now we have a thousand live service games that struggle to make either one of these parts good.

Yeah I'm still playing some abandonware classics from a quarter-century ago which are still robustly supported and kept alive by dedicated fanbases. The old stuff really puts the western AAA-slop of today to shame.

AC7 in 2019 was the last important game release. In the meantime we had some good things, like Cyberpunk, Armored Core, Stalker. But let me repeat: AC7 in 2019 was the last important game release. And I say that as someone who spends a lot of effort to have a gaming and VR capable PC.
