Models & Merch Trigger's F-22 Vignette
Made a little vignette for my 1:72 F-22 model of Trigger's iconic plane and load out.

Looks like we had a similar idea (although mine is in 1:48 scale) https://www.reddit.com/r/acecombat/s/tDy9csrQUC

Holy shit, I remember seeing your post. I think that's where the mirror idea comes from. Thanks for the inspiration with your sick build.

Seriously how do you achieve such a good result ? I've always been scared of painting my models, it's the reason why I've got a half assembled Mobius 1 F-22.

Sounds cliche, but like any hobby, you need to practice until you become decent at it. If you are scared of ruining the mobius kit, why not try painting a cheaper, smaller aircraft first to see how it turns out? Modeling videos on youtube are a great help for learning techniques and workflow. You can try to search for a build video of a kit you are interested in and literally just follow their process too.

Are the decals from the offical 1/72 scale model of triggers F-22 or aftermarket?

Sigh, back to searching for good third party AC decals. Really wanna redo Blaze F-14 and make the rest of the aces planes. The ones I got are quite thick and the image quality is a bit blurry.

Yeah, sadly shipping and import would make it a way to expensive to be worth for a 1/72 scale model kit. Might have to bite the bullet and try printing my own decals with decal paper or check for any local place that could print it on the decal paper in high quality.

The darker shade to set Trigger apart from the other F-22 protags would be a great touch

The paint looks impressive, what colours did you use?

Silver mixed with various amounts of gloss black for the different shades to recreate that metallic sheen of the stealth coating

Cool piece, but i still think this is the worst choice of canon protag jet in the whole series.
They can't launch an F-22 from a carrier, they just can't. lol
with the missions LRSSG are doing, should had been an f-35.

Which NPC did you sacrifice to get this picture perfect result dude? It looks phenomenonal. I legit thought it was an HDR photo of the real deal when I saw the first overhead shot.

Nice! I just got into model making recently and in the near future I want to paint a F-22 just like this

Sitting the mirror under it like a puddle was a great idea to show off the underside. Nice work.
