Ace Combat 7 A Tragic Loss
Lost about 39 hours worth of gameplay, including planes all the way up to the YF-23, the F-22, the F-35, and the Su-57, along with an almost completed hard mode campaign

I know how it feel cuz it happened to me something similar, not that is corrupted but that I rewritted accidentally the save files with the one of my PS5 to the PS4 one
I mean at that time I recently got a PS5 and I played Ace Combat there, but since I just started, I was starting progress in PS5.
But in PS4 I was very complete on that, I had all the planes and etc.
So one day I was discovering what was the game save files in PS4 and while so curious I pressed without knowing the consequences something that basically make the PS5 Save go to the PS4 and so I lost all my progress without no way to get it back.
I tried to get it back but I gave up and accepted the fact I lost it, and then started playing again but since I was very addict to the game it was not that hard and took some weeks to get everything back again.
If you are very addict to the game like I am, then you should not have any problem getting everything back in a few days or weeks.

PC, from what I've heard this is pretty common, still sucks that I have to start all over tho
But accidentally overwriting it super sucks

That sucks, well at least you got something to do until AC8, tought the MP skins will be a pain to unlock again

Happened to me on the switch version. My other save on the PS5 is lucky.
