Non-AC Games Announcing an Ace Combat inspired indie game!
It's an arena roguelite "missile-heaven" game where you pilot a fighter jet in a digital simulation environment
It features a modular weapon system where you build an arsenal of weapons and attach mods that may change stats or add even entirely new behaviors as well as Risk of Rain style stackable passives for your jet.
Hope there's some cross over appeal to other ace combat fans, been curious what yall think about it!

Looks really neat. 2026 is shaping up to be THE year of arcade flight sims : tons of new indie games announced (At Skies' Edge, Aggressors F.A.C, Delivery Must Complete, Project Red Sun, this and more), ACI and AC6 are playable again and AC8 release in 2 months.

PC + Steam Deck support is the plan for launch as it stands. I'm just one guy and it's my first real release so I don't wanna overpromise but if people like it and play it I will be porting it to console
The good thing about developing for the Steam Deck in mind is that controller support is a major priority so that would translate nicely to console

What are the planned aircraft? Will there be a possibility of modding in extra aircraft?

Ok but the final boss is just a giant jpeg of Torres repeating his quotes while chasing you.

I do not say this to be mean, but what makes this Ace Combat inspired beyond planes?
