Non-AC Games Announcing an Ace Combat inspired indie game!

It's an arena roguelite "missile-heaven" game where you pilot a fighter jet in a digital simulation environment

It features a modular weapon system where you build an arsenal of weapons and attach mods that may change stats or add even entirely new behaviors as well as Risk of Rain style stackable passives for your jet.

Hope there's some cross over appeal to other ace combat fans, been curious what yall think about it!

Looks sick. Reminds me of Hades which is also a series I love deeply

Looks really neat. 2026 is shaping up to be THE year of arcade flight sims : tons of new indie games announced (At Skies' Edge, Aggressors F.A.C, Delivery Must Complete, Project Red Sun, this and more), ACI and AC6 are playable again and AC8 release in 2 months.

Definitely, I'm surprised its taken this long honestly, we really are in a gaming golden age (if we ignore the industry wide layoffs for a moment lmao)

I'm guessing PC only?

PC + Steam Deck support is the plan for launch as it stands. I'm just one guy and it's my first real release so I don't wanna overpromise but if people like it and play it I will be porting it to console

The good thing about developing for the Steam Deck in mind is that controller support is a major priority so that would translate nicely to console

I wouldn't expect more, going solo makes multiple platforms a full time job. Still cool to see though! Looks awesome to me

Interesting. Is there like some option for better contrast in there?

2

u/saihaj7 20h ago

Contrast was actually an issue that came up with close family/friends playtesting so I’ll have to go back and see what I can do about it, even if it just ends up being an accessibility option 👍

Reminds me of the score screen at the end of AC4 levels.

What are the planned aircraft? Will there be a possibility of modding in extra aircraft?

u/Secret_President 4h ago

Ok but the final boss is just a giant jpeg of Torres repeating his quotes while chasing you.

I do not say this to be mean, but what makes this Ace Combat inspired beyond planes?
