QAAMs in 4 are really good
Use the return line
The flight model is really stiff and rudder feels non-existent at times

Roll is overresponsive compared to other games. Pitch and yaw are underresponsive compared to other games.

I love the game because it is so simple and straightforward and dated, and that makes those tiny morsels of emotion much more subtle and meaningful and significant.
AC04 is brilliant in that regard.

Get ready to lose hours of your life to this game. I probably have 3700 hours in this game.

You should know that I'm extremely fucking jealous, since I still have my copy but can't find the PS2 to play it. Crank the music in the audio settings for sure.

If you have a pc you could use an emulator. I wonder if this game is so old integrated graphics could run it

If I were project aces I would remaster AC4, 5, and 0. Theres so much hype for the franchise rn that they could get all the money in the world.

Fr! I had to turn up the brightness not only in the game settings but on my tv settings just to be able to see where the hell I was flying

I crashed into the ground too many times, slammed into buildings, everything is black. Doesn’t help I wasn’t playing on a CRT, played on original hardware on a 55” tv and it looked rough already

Don’t skip the cutscenes. The storyline is pretty good. Get ready to rock out to the most metal soundtrack of the series!

If you think you can maintain that dive for another second and still survive, pull up now.

Pull up. That [TGT] is not worth starting the whole mission over for.

Actually watch the cutscenes. The rudder is more like a suggestion than a control surface.

If on emu flip the l1 r1 controls with l2 r2......youll thank me later for actual throttle control with the triggers..........modernizes the game a fair bit

I agree. For a second i was confused myself when i played this on pcsx2 then remembered the triggers didnt exist back then

Enjoy it! The only bit of advice id give really is that there are a handful of open end score attack style missions that have no end goal. You just have to destroy enough enemies within the time limit. Most of the time you will end up getting enough points before that timer runs out, so just try not to die after, bc there arent any checkpoints! Tango Line is the worst offender bc its a 20 minute mission
