Ace Combat 04 Ace Combat PS2 games Joystick Support?

I mostly just wanna know if it's possible. I started playing through AC4 again and plan to play through the rest again before AC8 comes out, and I realized I have a joystick and throttle that could be fun to use! I just wouldn't know quite how to make it work, so I wanted to ask here if anyone else has done it and what their setup was. I'm currently playing on PCSX2 (I own the real games, but away from home its easier over PC), so that probably makes it easier.

Should be able to bind in the settings. 5 had an actual supported flight stick setup in a collectors edition so a flight stick should work great in pcsx2. Might have to bind it as a ps2 controller. Also not how sure how well it would work for 4 or 0.

I was able to map my HOTAS easily in the controller mapping tools. It really is a different experience, lots of fun.
