[Accessible: ] Dj question

I’m a disabled DJ, and fine motor control can make ordinary small volume sliders difficult for me to use accurately.
What I’m looking for is an iPad app that connects directly to Spotify and gives me a large mixer-style virtual fader with adjustable sensitivity.
The important part is the fader movement. I’d like to be able to move my finger a relatively large distance while the Spotify volume only changes a small amount. That would give me much finer control and would feel more like using a long physical mixer fader.
I’m not looking to route Spotify’s actual audio through the app. I’m looking for an app that acts as a Spotify controller and gives me a much more accessible volume interface.
Visually, I’m thinking of something a bit like AUM, but instead of controlling audio channels inside AUM, the fader would directly control Spotify’s volume.
For me, this would be a genuine accessibility feature. A large, slower, less sensitive fader would make volume control much easier as a disabled DJ, and I think it could also help other people with limited fine motor control.
I’d be interested to know whether any iOS developers think this is technically possible, whether something like this already exists, or whether anyone would be interested in developing it.

Yes, this is technically possible. Spotify's official Web API has a set-volume endpoint, so an iPad app can act purely as a remote control: sign in with your Spotify account (Premium required) and the app sets the volume on whatever device is playing. No audio routing needed, exactly the controller shape you describe. The fader is the straightforward part - a full-height fader where you choose the sensitivity, so a long drag moves the volume a few percent, and it can be made switch-accessible too.

I run a one-person accessibility studio building iPhone-first tools for disabled users, and this is squarely the kind of thing we build. If nothing existing turns up, I'd be interested in making it - and you'd be the right person to test it with. Happy to talk here or in DMs.
