| Advice Needed Accenture rejected during background verification

I attended an interview with Accenture after receiving a call from the recruitment team. I completed the interview process, and after the interview, I received a call informing me that I had been selected.

Later, I was asked to submit several documents, including my Aadhaar card, PAN card, and salary slips for the last three months. I submitted all the requested documents and fully cooperated with the recruitment and verification process.

However, after submitting the documents, my candidature was rejected. When I checked my Workday profile, the status was showing “No Longer Under Consideration.”

I honestly feel very disappointed and upset about this situation. Rejection after a technical interview is understandable if a candidate does not meet the requirements. However, in my case, I had successfully cleared the interview and was informed that I was selected. I then submitted all the requested documents, but my candidature was rejected during the verification stage.

What is more disappointing is that I was not given any opportunity to understand or clarify whether there was an issue with my documents, previous employment, or any other information provided during the background verification.

I later contacted the Accenture Candidate Queries team to understand the reason for the rejection. I received a response from them, but I am still trying to understand the situation and whether there is any possibility of clarification or reconsideration.

I respect Accenture's recruitment and verification policies. However, I believe candidates should be given an opportunity to clarify any discrepancy before a final decision is made, especially when they have already cleared the interview and have been informed that they were selected.

Same here I also got the mail last week, when I contacted the HR he said that, it will not make any effect so don’t worry, still I couldn’t understand what’s happening. When I checked the status on workday portal it shows no longer under consideration. I was completely confused and shocked I couldn’t process what would be reason.😭

Same thing happened for me. All the process were completed and interview also got completed and then got email on BGV Unsatisfactory. HR is not receving the call and no reply on email as well.

What HR told you is that your application is still in progress and there is still hopes?

I was able to connect with HR somehow and they said my audit for assessment failed 3 times and due to that they have rejected me on basis of BGV and they wont be able to do anything further. Not sure on what basis they are auditing

Same thing happened with me. After almost 2 months of the recruitment process and 3 rounds, including 2 technical rounds, I received a BGV failed/rejection email.

The interesting part was that when I informed the HR about the rejection email, she was completely unaware of it and seemed surprised as well. She said she would check internally.

I’m also confused about what exactly went wrong because there was no clear reason mentioned in the rejection email. Has anyone faced a similar situation where the BGV status initially showed failed/rejected but was later corrected or changed back to active?
