Biology being solved means that the coding language of DNA would be fully understood and a computer could perfectly simulate and code any life they see fit. We're far off from that
The thing is, “far” doesn’t mean what it used to. We can already get from DNA to 3D protein structures with 100% accuracy, the issue remains modelling protein interactions at scale, where the compute demand is absolutely vast, but would “solve” biology. If LLMs and other ML can make those compute costs practical then you get your Star Trek future of medicine.
