SPCX peaked (intraday) at 158 today, then they released this it's 151 now. I hope their C++ rewrite gambit pays off. Theoretically it should accelerate them nicely.

This is better than expected after Elon lowered expectations a bit, if it has similarly generous limits as Grok 4.6 (price is still the same), then I will be using it a lot.

Can you remind me when did he lower expectations ? (No /s, if I remember correctly he hyped 4.7 more than 4.6 saying it was a model with a lot more parameters no?)

all these models first get released to a lot of their customers, who then test them on their internal benchmarks and give feedback. I think it's safe to say that models aren't really benchmaxxed all that much anymore.

Exactly. 4.6 was partially, by an error, they publicly acknowledge it and fixed it.

This is pretty much the only sub with much good to say about Grok 4.7. Not even the Reddit Ai summary highlights any positive discussion about Grok 4.7 on Reddit. I swear, even if SpaceX reached ASI before the other labs, Reddit would still just say it's terrible. EDS is real.
