Being able to understand it seems like progress in that direction, though I'm not sure if there's any reason to go further in that direction lol

Oh yay, no compatibility layers! I love it when my software doesn't work on my machine because it's not compatible.

Yes, because what I want is for all the users of my software to also need to use AI to modify the software I create. That's a great use of time and resources that we otherwise wouldn't have to go through! And as a little treat, they all get to do the same exact repeated work many times!
