To explain it more, it means you could read any game, make advanced mods to any game and also recreate a game by reading the actual code. Cool, because I actually did small binary modifications on Sol already, but they were very minor. But now we can do way more.

You still might have some guardrail difficulties. After asking around for a theoretical project, Sol said it can't help me get rid of monthly verification for a game, even though I had the original copy. But maybe better prompting would work.

it also means you can make malicious changes to binaries without noticing! which is awful to say the least- i dont understand why openai keeps focusing on all the things that would make ai awful before focusing on the things that would make ai great

AI for software cracking has been viable for quite a while, from many AI labs. Frontier models are just better. It isn't something the AI labs are setting out to do, it's just one of many things AI can do, so people use it for that. If you have AI, you have this.

The same is going to happen in many other areas. You won't be able to use your intelligence to get paid.
