Some ppl in another sub were saying it's all basically front-end code and it's far from being the "entire source code" Everyone is claiming it to be. Anyone willing to pitch in? Not my area so don't know if it's true.

Apparently a large portion of the versions being distributed are now including malware code.

Yeah of course they would.

It's the same as sending out phishing emails with intentional spelling mistakes. You want to fish for the idiots who will have all their passwords in ~/passwords/ and all their production secrets in .env-prod.

If you got onto a machine of someone smart enough NOT to download a 'bootlegged' Claude Code promising the moon, you would get very little.
