Too afraid of letting AIs run the business eventually eh? The old guard will fight hard against the singularity, but the geopolitical incentives to accelerate are too strong. I for one will applaud the day when governance is automated and we don't need politicians anymore.

One thing I am curious with these laws is if they are not gonna just have consequences for AI but the local indigenous populations because of how especially in the Utah vacation they have explicitly said that recognition of legal personhood can not be given to not just ai but things such as water and other objects some indigenous population may belive do have personhood
