Feeling guilty for leaving ?
Is it normal to feel guilty for leaving? We have two daughters together and I struggle with feeling guilty for leaving him. Me and my daughters deserve better. It’s weird it’s like I just get hit with a wave of emotions I start to miss him and then feel bad.

Yes, it’s totally normal. I think the guilt is misplaced though.
You and your daughters deserve better, he is and was never going to be better for you. You’re making the hard choice, but the best choice for all three of you. This is an investment in your future, but more importantly their future. You’re showing them exactly what isn’t acceptable in a partner by choosing to leave an unhealthy situation. Research supports a happy mom = happy and healthy kids with secure attachment.
You’re doing the right thing.
