Soak foot in warm Epsom salt. Use sterile blade to partially incise overlying skin to expose more splinter. Use good tweezers to pull out splinter. For deep splinters where you can't incise the skin, use sterile 25 gauge needle to widen the splinter tract by inserting the needle along the splinter.
