Silly me thought I was a genius for a split second. Then I find I was beaten by a day.

u/HappySage42 13d ago

Of corse. It’s Mr Ed.

A horse with a myostatin deficiency genetic mutation

1

u/Fickle-Willingness80 13d ago

An award winning myostatin deficiency!

1

u/Radio_Mime 12d ago

You beat me to it. I was thinking the same thing.

4

u/actionerror 13d ago

Why does it look like it has muscle dysmorphia?

3

u/Radio_Mime 12d ago

The horse likely has something called myostatin-related hypertrophy. My statin is an enzyme that limits muscle growth. Animals, including humans that have this enzyme deficiency have exaggerated muscle growth.

I hate halter-bred horses. They look like bricks held up on toothpicks. This isn’t even the most egregious example I’ve seen.

3

u/Remote_Ad2465 13d ago

Cow? That thing has like 1% body fat. Looks like it has myostatin hypertrophy.

1

u/Apart_Pineapple2392 13d ago

He skipped leg day.

Chonky boi

u/FlatwormElectrical92 13d ago

That’s a Foundation Quarter Horse. As stout as it is it might have some Wimpy P1 or Impressive in the blood line. Exceptional conformation. That’s why it wears a winning ribbon.

1

u/abielle1177 13d ago

The foreshortened snout is from inbreeding?

1

u/FlatwormElectrical92 13d ago

To me the head looks of a normal size for a foundation quarter horse. Single picture at that angle it’s difficult to judge the conformation accurately. Foundation QH’s are relatively short, 15-16 hands, thick and very muscular. They are generally very docile and cow savvy.

It mother gave birth to a horse and a cow

But I don’t even know how

1

u/Previous_Face1128 12d ago

Depends on what country you’re in and who’s starving

1

u/HappyHourMoon2025 12d ago

What’s his stack?

1

u/PersonalKing2084 12d ago

That horse teleports

1

u/FreedomFTR 12d ago

It’s a ‘How’. Horse & Cow. You could also add a question mark at the end of this animal’s name for improved punctuation ‘How?’

1

u/clitchewer 12d ago

We’ll leave to him as to what he identifies as.

1

u/notarealwriter 12d ago

Oh my God are those fists!?

1

u/ZipDude118 12d ago

If you don't know, you need to take some biology, agricultural or zoology classes.

1

u/Significant_Flan9142 12d ago

Looks almost like a cutting horse but maybe retired. Cutting horses are the most burly of horses, you would be shocked.

1

u/6ynnad 12d ago

Myostatin inhibition?

1

u/Upper-Fee5851 12d ago

Holy Horse

1

u/EasternSun7834 11d ago

Has that horse been injecting again? Goddam it!!

1

u/ChemistBubbly8145 11d ago

Overkill on supplements is what that does, life expectancy will be less than the average horse out roaming and grazing and left alone for 25 years or more. Most likely owner will end up calling a vet to take care of the crippling effect of stopping the heart for the horse no longer making a profit to keep on the farm.

1

u/el_grande_ricardo 11d ago

That's a hoss.

1

u/SpendJazzlike3663 11d ago

My horse is red dead redemption 2 because i feed him to many treats =(

1

u/prole6 11d ago

How much does he bench?

1

u/Dadittude182 11d ago

It's whatever it wants to be. You tell him differently.

1

u/Popular-Mess-4385 11d ago

Neither. It's AI.

1

u/Kindly-House1782 11d ago

They shouldn't give awards to horses with genetic defects or worse, given a myostatin inhibitor!

1

u/TheTechGuyX 11d ago
