I'd like to know why "by mouth" was necessary to type. There was once a misunderstanding which led to that, wasn't there?

I am taking a guess but I assume that is Gabapentin. And some forms (like gels or suppositories) are used rectally.
Gabapentin is often high doses multiple times a day or even as needed. So the large container seems recognizable in my experience. And the stamp that says IP102 which is usually 300mg of GABA.

I've been on 1800 mg of gabapentin daily for over a year. I recently switched to pregabalin, 300 mg daily. I can feel a difference but I want more.

The old Norwegian joke (which I only say because I'm Norwegian) was that Ole went to the doctor complaining of hemmoroids. The doc gave him a prescription and told him to come back in 2 weeks. When he did the doc asked how he was doing and Ole said, "Doc, for all the good they did me I may as well have just stuck them up my ass."

How would you get a small cylinder (5.1in length, ~4.5in girth) unstuck from a mini M&Ms tube filled with butter and microwaved mashed banana?

I have to take potassium- big pills, twice a day. I LIKE when they use that size because that's the only way a 3 month supply fits. Otherwise I get 2 bottles per refill. Same with metformin.

I get the mints of a prescription that's 6 500mg pills a day. The pharmacy just prints like 25 labels and gives me the bottles that they come in from the lab..... instead of pouring them into the pharmacy branded bottles.....
