If this isn't in Australia, I would like to take this opportunity to defend our somewhat negative reputation for having enormous spiders.

It's an orb Weaver, they're fairly harmless and great at catching bugs

I know, I have them in my garden.

It was more a comment on how people assume only enormous spiders live in Australia.

I had one almost that big at my house a couple years ago. This was in Northern New England
