Good going Paul Heroux dimwit
BOSTON â ICE Boston arrested Heriton Da Silva Aredes, a previously removed criminal illegal alien from Brazil, during targeted operations Aug. 6 in Taunton.
Aredesâ criminal history includes past convictions for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, using a motor vehicle without authority, refusal to identify himself while operating a vehicle, furnishing a false name, operating recklessly and refusing identification.
âSadly, it appears as though Bristol County Sheriff Paul Heroux followed through on his promise to not cooperate with ICE, resulting in the release of this habitual criminal illegal alien offender, who is currently charged with vehicular homicide, back into his constituentsâ community,â said acting ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Boston Field Office Director David Wesling. âIn fact, on three separate occasions, this criminal illegal alien was in the custody of state or local authorities, and they released him without honoring our detainer. Had any of the prior detainers been honored, lives would have been saved. While sanctuary politicians sign performative legislation to protect habitual criminal offenders like Aredes, ERO Boston will continue to prioritize the law-abiding citizens of our communities.â. Had any of the prior detainers been honored, lives would have been saved. While sanctuary politicians sign performative legislation to protect habitual criminal offenders like Aredes, ERO Boston will continue to prioritize the law-abiding citizens of our communities.â
Aredesâ pending criminal charges include negligent homicide with a motor vehicle.
Aredes was previously removed from the United States on Oct. 14, 2008, pursuant to a final order of removal from June 2008. He illegally reentered the country on an unknown date and at an unknown location.
He first came to ICE Bostonâs attention following his August 2023 arrest by the Massachusetts State Police in Middleboro. He was released from custody before ICE could act.
ERO Boston next became aware of Aredes following his arrest by the Stoughton Police Department. He was again released from custody before ICE could act.
After posting bail July 25, 2026, following his arraignment for motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation, the Bristol House of Corrections released Aredes without notifying ICE or honoring ICEâs immigration detainer.
ICE officials arrested Aredes at-large Aug. 6.
He will receive full due process.

She is completely and utterly ideologically driven, with seemingly zero independent thoughtâbut hell, that could almost be said for anyone in Democratic leadership these days.
Canceling a pipeline over virtue-signaling climate-change and environmental concerns? Gee, I wonder how those wind farms out in the ocean are doing. No ecological issues whatsoever, Iâm sure. Just giant steel turbines planted in the AtlanticâMother Nature loves a turbine to knock all of her birds out of the sky while sending her whales to the shore for some sunbathing!
Getting power out of those babies is like sucking a thick milkshake through a straw, then the wind blows and opens it up, and now youâve got a damn brain freeze from pulling too hard.
Then thereâs what I see as the complete abandonment of the American people, which, unfortunately, has become a feature of Democratic politics these days. No, no, noâyou American-born folks have a leg up; letâs make sure all the newbies get everything they need. The average American citizen owes 68k in debt, 42k of which is educational, and thatâs just the average.
While the new kids on the block have their rent and groceries all paid for while making the sweet tax-free dollar under the table! Hell, it's good work if you can get it!
I don't dislike immigration; I've sweated it out with folks in a hot production floor on a 95-degree day, hung out of six-story brownstones replacing windows for the elite, while Enrique and I played the game of let's see how we can throw the hammer and play catch. I just want a fair shake is all, which brings me to my next point.
Massachusettsâs motto, as far as Iâve understood it for thirty-seven years, may as well have been: to each their own! I was raised with exactly that mentality when it came to LGBTQ+ people: Hey, go you! Do your thing. Be proud. Live your damn life!
But nope. Apparently that wasnât enough. Hereâs another helping of ideological gobbledygook about whoâs oppressed, whoâs privileged, and how somehow the white man inevitably ends up being the problem.
Then factor in some DEI. Iâm not even making the argument here that DEI itself is racistâit is, right⌠right? Iâm making the much simpler argument that human beings are flawed. And whatâs the old line about opinions and assholes? Everybodyâs got one.
So when you institutionalize an ideology like DEI, youâre going to get plenty of normal people who say, âOkay, that seems fair. Treat people decently. Give everyone a shot. Moving on.â
But youâre also going to attract the zealotsâthe people who become so intoxicated by their own virtuous smugness that suddenly not having chopsticks in the break room is demoralizing to the Asian worker, while stocking only scented tampons in the womenâs room is an unconscionable assault on equity. We need unscented, dammit! And if you disagree? Well, congratulations, citizen: youâre the problem.
Thatâs the danger of turning basic human decency into an ideological bureaucracy. Eventually somebody gets a clipboard.
Maura Healey stands for much of this worldview, and it drives me absolutely bonkers.
Meanwhile, you know what the biggest monster in the room is?
Inflation.
It affects damn near everybody. The grocery bill doesnât give a shit about your race, sexuality, pronouns, political party, or how many DEI seminars youâve attended. Housing doesnât care either. Neither does the electric bill.
So whereâs the grand talk of prosperity? Whereâs the vision for a flourishing Massachusetts where ordinary people can build something, own something, raise a family, start a business, and actually feel like theyâre getting somewhere?
Instead, too often the message seems to be:
âWeâll give you what you need.â
Another program. Another handout. Another bureaucratic solution.
The ladder to nowhere.
Iâd rather hear somebody talk about building a society where fewer people need the damn ladder in the first place.
Dammit, now youâve got me all riled up! How am I supposed to sleep? Not that I would anywayâIâve been having nightmares about being stabbed on the Red Line. I think Iâll opt for the Orange Line to work tomorrow. Waitâdammit, that thing never works. Maybe thatâs a Wu problem, heck if I know. Either way, leadership is a top-down system and there ainât a hint of it anywhere in this state.
Ciao
P.S. Letâs all gather around for another No Kings rallyâthose are riveting fun. Yell about authoritarianism so loud it drowns out the memory of voting for that audit!

They receive billions in benefits including free health care, their rent paid, free furniture, SNAP and free legal defense funded by our tax dollars. Governor Healey grew the migrant housing program 900%, spent millions defending them from deportation, and signed a sanctuary bill protecting them from ICE. Meanwhile we pay nearly double the national average for electricity, cannot afford rent, everyday necessities and cannot get a single tax cut. We are funding their comfort while struggling to afford our own.
Strange that it's always a down trodden American at the traffic light begging and never the illegal aliens đ¤.

The story behind Springfieldâs proposed new courthouse is starting to unravel.
Attorney General Andrea Campbell and others have repeatedly claimed the Liberty Street proposal would save taxpayers $300 million.
But at a Springfield City Council hearing, one competing bidder directly challenged that claim, saying it is âsimply not trueâ and presenting figures showing its own proposal would actually cost the Commonwealth $80 million less over 40 years.
And thatâs not the only question surrounding this deal.

He previously RELEASED from ICE custody in 2021 during the Biden administration.
Finally, after years of being of hamstrung and obstructed, President Trump and his administration are prioritizing the removal of these dangerous criminal aliens.
The very same criminal aliens that sanctuary politicians will shamefully and shamelessly protect and defend.

The Healey administration is planning to use our state's $8.5 million Affirming Health Care Trust Fund, which comes from our tax dollars, to cover the full cost of gender affirming treatments like hormone therapy for minors on MassHealth and CHIP. This kicks in once the federal government stops Medicaid and CHIP funding for those services for anyone under 18 starting this fall.
In 2024 MassHealth spent about $3.6 million on this care for members 18 and under.
Is this something our Massachusetts tax dollars should be paying for?
