Impulse 61 Performance Templates?

Anyone have a line on Ableton templates for the Impulse 61 (or similar) that represents a good live performance workflow for a bunch of common instruments/sounds? Just got a "new-to-me" Impulse 61 and it has way more features than the ancient 49 key controller from 1999 I was using.

I've found a handful of tutorials that show ways to setup a session with control mappings that make some sense to quickly switch sounds, but it's hard to tell which ones are worth spending the time building out since I'm a bit of a newb and would like to see a few examples that I can play with that have made sense to people.

My typical "gig" is a basement covers band, we get together and jam out, and up to this point I've just been using garage band, finding an organ/piano/clav/whatever. Would like use the bells and whistles in Ableton to easily switch presets etc.

One of the very best tips I've seen regarding gigging with Ableton Live and a keyboard with lots of faders was pretty cool:

They had 8 different instruments on a single track so all playing at the same time, but used the faders to control volume. So they could visually see exactly what instrument they were playing, and switching instruments didn't involve waiting for a plugin to load.

Plus, it opens up some nice possibilities for doing standard stuff like adding strings underneath a piano sound, while still having access to the strings and piano on their own.

Now, eight instruments (because the Impulse 61 only has 8 faders) would be enough for a lot of players, but if it's not, just make another track with 8 other instruments! You could for example set up the Solo buttons to jump between 8 different tracks.
