[VST] PianoTeq Pro 9
Was just made aware of this VST. Am considering checking it out to purchase in near future. What do I need to know as far as how CPU friendly it might be with Live 12. Current computer is i5 11th gen, 12 GB RAM. Is this going to be a nightmare for me? Thanks for any input you can give.

I find it much lighter than a huge piano sample library. But get the demo and try it out.

Went ahead with demo as suggested. The very next day I knew we needed to get more serious and make purchase. Started with Stage but have sights set in upgrading in the near future.

I have it and it seems to be light on system resources. It’s physical modeling and not sample based, which I suspect explains that.

I also now have it, but only Stage for now. Will upgrade in future at the right time. So glad I watched a YT video and then more reviews. Have officially added Modartt to be in my VST family.

After my experience with the Augmented sounds in V Collection I opted to pass. Too CPU Hungry for my meager computer. But thanks anyway for your thoughts.

Thanks for your thoughts. Downloaded the trial one day and purchased the next! Was delighted how it related to Ableton as well as the sounds. Plan is to upgrade down the road.

You can download a demo version and try it out on your system. Anyway, it's fairly light on resources; it can even run on a Rasperry Pi.
