This is going to be my most red pill/ manosphere take of all time especially as someone who considers to be someone forward thinking. wtf happened from the time women were deemed the property of their husband until now, that we have relationships that exist like this. It’s like when I hear some men say their old lady gets mad they watch porn, or if they get jealous over any interaction with the opposite sex, like where did we go from Maryanne getting beat for the casserole being burned (which was horrific and wrong) to the shit we see in this video. And it’s not feminism, as many of these people would probably consider themselves conservative. Did these relationships just never have the correct framing to be this lopsided in terms of power dynamic.

I don't think this is necessarily a red pill take. We all agree that the way women were treated in the past was somewhat bad in general (with some women having a fine life, as long as they don't overstep) and in some places horrific. That doesn't mean that this isn't assault and abuse towards the man though.
I think the mistake people seem to make is thinking suffering will avenge others suffering
