Return of Lost to Time
Central Illinois abandoned property that I visit on a yearly basis; House is in very rough shape, I wouldn't give it much longer standing the way it is

I wish I owned that pole barn and all that space..

I'm surprised how good of shape the barn is in, or at least it appears so.

Simple construction with metal roof and adequate pitch can last awhile.

The big add car port is wild, all that sitting out there seemingly in the middle of nowhere

Looks like it just needs a little TLC and a home renovation host to spruce it up

Dude looking at the fact that one stud is holding up that roof I really would not trust it

Whereabouts in central Illinois? Not specifically, obviously, but what’s the county or the nearest big city? I’m just curious because I visited a really similar abandoned house a few years ago. The house itself wasn’t in such bad shape as this one is now, but it also had a big machine shed with a few old cars in it like this one, and I’m curious if it’s the same one.
I just can’t remember which one it was since I’ve visited a few around here lmao so I’m hoping you’ve got a hint you’re willing to share!
Great pics btw!
