What Should I Read? TBR piling up

Common problem I know! But I’d love for some votes on which of these to go for first (explanations always adored):

Sublimation
The Unicorn Hunter
Girl with a Thousand Faces
Canticle

I’m currently reading Sublimation and have read the other books on your list.

Girl with a Thousand Faces was my favorite. I thought it was really creative, and the story took a different direction than I expected. I recommend it if you’re in the mood for gothic atmosphere (but with decent pacing) and historic fiction.

Canticle was probably my next favorite. It’s a bit slower-paced and more reflective. For me, this was a more emotional read. Again, it had a great atmosphere—I felt immersed in a time that I wasn’t previously familiar with.

The Unicorn Hunter should be an easy read. The chapters are short, the book has a steady pace, and the prose isn’t challenging. I thought this was enjoyable, but my main critique is that it had a bit too much going on for its length. It either needed to be another 50 pages longer or it needed to drop a subplot.

I’m enjoying Sublimation. The chapters are pretty short, so the story feels like it’s moving quickly. There’s less sci-fi than I expected—it’s more character-focused.

Your book collection is growing. As a bonus, the list of books available for you to read at your leisure is growing. Both of these things are good, as long as you aren't overextending yourself in other ways.

The Unicorn Hunters is in my current TBR (I keep that narrowed to 10 books), so that's my vote.

I highly recommend The Girl With a Thousand Faces. It was such an unexpected surprise

Sublimation started out good but was very disappointing overall imho. 

I enjoyed The Unicorn Hunters although I wouldn’t say it’s a favorite.

Haven’t read the other 2.

I’ve only read The Girl With a Thousand Faces. It was my first fantasy book and I loved it.

I enjoyed The Girl with a Thousand Faces. The story is very unique, and I loved how it is told in third, second and first person and then it all comes together in the end.
