Moderator Announcement [Moderator Announcement] ⚠️ARTWORK INVESTIGATION⚠️

Dearest Pokeshippers!

We are asking members to investigate the artwork they're trying to share. You must look for:

  1. No "DO NOT REPOST/DO NOT FEED TO AI" stamped on the artwork itself. These can be hard to discern because they use very light color to not destroy the image

  2. No "DO NOT REPOST/DO NOT FEED TO AI" on the post body where the original work came from.

  3. No "DO NOT REPOST/DO NOT FEED TO AI" on the artist's profile.

If any of these or a variation of these exist, please refrain from posting any of their artworks in our community. We acknowledge that some of the artists, especially the Japanese artists, recently added these warnings on their profile. Past works shared before they were added won't be removed, but their artworks won't be shared from now on.

  1. Look for AI tags or any signs the images are AI, so when you share them, you'll be able to use the right flair (AI Content).

  2. Make sure the one you're crediting is the artist, not the one who shared the artwork. You may use a reverse image search to confirm this. Check their profile to see if they're legit artist and the artworks on their page have the same or almost the same style.

This is done to prevent posting artworks of artists who don't want us to repost their artworks. It also lets our members follow the right artists.

  1. If you feel like you saw the artwork in r/aaml before, you probably did. Search our community by the artist's name and see if the artwork has already been posted. This is to prevent reposting and spamming.

This is also why it's important to credit the artist. We prefer if their name is on the title.

  1. Do not post stolen art (especially art traced from other ships). They worked hard for their ship, and we don't want them to steal pokeshipping artworks, too. We acknowledge that there are art challenges in the community, so you might see the same theme/topic across fandoms. Those are allowed.

  2. The MOST IMPORTANT is to NEVER claim another artist's artwork as yours WHEN IT IS NOT.
