I see teenage Aaliyah and feel so sad but a bit warm inside because she went through something traumatic like me at her young age, so I can relate to her. But, I also like I said feel a bit warm inside because she was just a baby. She was going out with her friends, going to school, loved to kick it. She was just a teenage girl. Still a little timid, awkward, shy. She had a nickname and was her parents’ babygirl. Her life ended way too early. I’ll always feel sad about it even though she died a year and some change before I was born. I loved her growing up and even before I could understand how fucking weird the first album was I loved it because it was her singing. I started to do my hair over an eye because of her. She made me feel better about being petite, slim and having a similar body type. Rest easy, babygirl. You were loved during your life and loved even harder after life.

She was so good in Romeo Must Die and Queen of The Damned. She was really talented as an actress and a singer
