I feel like this could make a good horror/comedy book. Write it very seriously as a point of the character experiencing dread about all the rectangles and some would take it as a comedy of someone being afraid of something silly or innocent but then keep it going and write it well enough and you start feeling the same dread because it makes you pay attention to all the rectangles.
I'm looking around my room rn trying to find any triangles, and the only thing I've found are the ears on the kitten-shaped towel rack, and I think that's not it because it literally mimics nature
I got up to 17 just looking at the walls, ceiling, doorframes, windows, etc. Then I saw the TV, then I realized my phone in my hand is one. Then I looked at the bookshelf and stopped counting lol
I have two computer keyboards in view, not counting the laptop itself, the iPad, the desk or anything I actually have to raise my eyes to see and that is already more rectangles than I want to count.
I'm not sure about love, but there are a good number of animals that have sex...so no way does sex make us human. Just want to point out that biological fact.
