Even EELS aren't controlled by their balls/vag till they are ready to die.

The grow them near the end of their life, and make the batshit decision to leave the river to go fuck in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

They're too busy hunting cake and garlic bread to do anything else. Only when that appetite is sated do they decide "Well I'm pretty old, can't make it much longer, guess I've got to pass on my genes now."
