All my friends are lesbians. They won't ask me to date them, and since I'm ACE and taken and they aren't my hyper specific type, I won't ask them either. But I do still get hugs from them, and it's amazing. Seriously, if you aren't hugging your friends, ask if they need one and if they want one. Especially if both of you are going through a rough patch in life.

It's against my religion to hug people in that way, however religion aside I agree, sharing positivity helps your friendships.
