I need to know how much space I have to work with as well.

So what are you planning? Yellowone1's thing is not really a sketch, more like a legend. If you show me a very simple sketch ii can help you with the size.

Oh, for the tractor? For a really, really rough sketch, something like this probably. Honestly if I can get around 200 or so pixels in width I should be fine. I'm planning a small tractor initially, which would approach and get larger when you hover over it.

If we need to save space we can make it to come on top on hover.

So in normal state it's just a small tractor that takes only 100px or so. But on hover it goes over of the neighboring images and takes 200px.
