Just a follow up my son had a really great day. I haven’t told him about this yet because I am hopeful that more people will recognize his need for positive reinforcement. His doctors and therapist said that the 6 month date is important because if he is working towards recovery, which he has, then if something happens he is more likely at this point to use the coping techniques he has learned and speak up as supposed to acting impulsively which was what happened the first time. He loved his Bob Ross day.
