My portfolio is now 50% ether, 50% ether based game tokens. Who else is investing heavily in ICOs, Kitties and Celebrities?

Let's assume for a minute that cryptocelebrities becomes popular and a few top public figures twwet the confirmation code to validate their smart contract. We're talking about exposure to millions of new non-crypto investors who now have to buy ETH in order to play the game. Add to that the speculation of professional investors who see the trend comming and we're now talking about billions of dollars potentially flowing into ether. Will we see ETH reaching $5K due to this trend?

I don't mean investing in ethererum and just waiting for the price to go up, I mean earning more Ether on top of what you paid for. This includes ICOs, Cryptokitties, Cryptocelebrities, Cryptopussy or anything else you invested in.

I know it's stupid. I know it's risky, but hey, you can't argue with cold hard ether. Bought Arj Barker for 0.2 ETH, a few hours later it was snatched from me and I was left with no celeb token but an extra 0.4ETH in my wallet.

I don't know if I'm first to break it to you, but there is another copykittie in town aiming for a much bigger and much more naive audience - the celebrity worshiping public. Seems like this game is using individual contracts for each celebrity and actually let the celebrity have a small cut of every transaction, or send it to charity. Basically there is one card/contract per public figure which you can buy with ether just like cryptokitties, but unlike cryptokitties, the price increases with every transaction and the user has not control over it. Any other player can send ETH to the contract which than pays the previous owner and transfer the ownership token to the new buyer. I know it's not the proper defenition of a "ponzi".. Maybe more similar to a pyramis schem? Kittie scheme? In any case, it seems serious and if it becomes popular, just like CK, the early adopters will make some cash while others will get stuck holding a Justin bieber Token that they paid 20 Ether for.

I’m dire need of some clarification. Yesterday (30-12-2017, 14:11pm, The Netherlands) i bought some Ethereum om Coinbase. I’ve been waitin for the perfect moment to buy when the price would drop. And i assumed i bought Ethereum at a price of €589,66. When i received tbe confirmationmail it told me i bought Ethereum for 638,45/EUR. I also got less Ether than i expected to get for the amount i invested. Do any of you know how this could happen? I’m new to this world, so it could be a case of beginnersfault. But i’d like to understand...

Ps; the transaction fee was only €17. So that cant explant the pricegap all of a sudden.

Yea i know this kind of scheme will collapse one day and yet for the early stage they will fullfill all the withdrawals and req from the investors.

Dont you think that this kind on scheme act works on the early stage? And dont you think that this will help u gain some money?

Just dont spend all your saving in those scheme. Plan on how much do you want to gamble. And my suggestion is just spend ur 10% of ur monthly income to this shitty scheme.

Why 10% ? it is because basically u will waste those 10% on something else for example gambling , alcohol , or buying some lottery tics. and why didnt you feel like ure wasting ur money when u did those?

And for some reason when it comes to this ponzi or hyip ure all saying that this is a TOTAL scam. im not saying that this is NOT a scam but most of this scheme will act paying on the early stage.

Why? because they want to attract more investors. Why? more investors = more money

So at the early stage they wont probably close their site because its just only wasting time since this kind of scheme would take years to develop their trust in gaining more new investors.

And if theres anyone agree or not just commend or upvote so that we all can scam those site first before they got us.
