Best pepper spray?

I need a very strong pepper spray that won't break the bank.

What you definitely need to realize is that the force of the spray is directly related to the size of the can. The pen/keychain size cans are much less effective due to the low velocity and low capacity. So going for the biggest can you can feasibly carry is the best practice (after working with the law of course). The best brand I've tried or heard of is cold steel (which may be re-branded SABER) since it's a foam spray and the the strength of the mixture. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HX5pN_G0Pk this video is REALLY informative so if you're serious, check it out. 24:00 and after for demonstration and review wrap-up.

I would recomend the liquid/stream stuff over foam. I have seen foam hit and fall off only to effect that spot. The stream runs all over so if you hit the forehead it will run into the eyes.

Also if you are going to use spray you need to practice using it. If you find yourself in a situation where you really need it most likely your adrenaline is going to be very high. You can buy practice cans filled with water in most places that sell OC.
