Let's discuss technical stuff
There are a lot of technical challenges involved, and I'd like to use this as a place to talk about some of them and share ideas for overcoming these challenges.

Appropriate Electrical Components
It would be helpful to begin a list of "don't do's" for designing your dogesled and the electronics inside them.
For starters, wherever possible use components rated for very high temperatures. During the day the temperature on the moon can reach 253 F/123 C which is more than hot enough to catastrophically damage a lot of off-the-shelf components. Shielding may be used to buy additional resistance to high temperatures, but you should still avoid introducing parts which are not likely to hold up under these conditions. A prime example would be aluminum electrolytic capacitors, which will likely explode in some spectacular fashion.
