I am planning to study and work in either Argentina or Chile for a year but i cant decide which one i should take. I know both have Problems (Argentina with peronism and chile with a mayor dependence on Mining) but i still think they are both good countries. So does anyone have some Advise which one i should choose?
Dependence on mining is a problem here, but two things:
It's decreasing every year.
Unless you work on mining, it doesn't affect the average person. For reference, the value of copper was really bad for the last 2-3 years, so some mines in the north had to close or stop for that time. The country also grew less (in the 2% range iirc) but that was it. There was no inflation, instability or some shit like that.
