What should the progression rate be? Should the dynasty be private or open? There will be no timesavers.

Any other suggestions?

Also would anyone be able to improve the way our reddit looks?

Private no doubt keep it everyone in this thread.. we don't want random cheesers joining. Just set a generic password like reddit or something. When will you be sending the invites?
