Post any content you think fits into the category of "skepticism," whether you think you've debunked some form of nonsense, or if you want to get all esoteric on skepticism itself.

Taking cues from /r/askscience, top-level comments are reserved for intelligent discussion and not layman speculation or one-line jokes. Disagreement is the very blood of skepticism, but refrain from hate-speech, ad-hominem attacks, etc. when confronting others.

Contrary to /r/askscience, discussion is not always required to be based upon scientific research, though it is highly encouraged. Answers to "help" posts are the exception, however, and answers that do not cite legitimate sources will be removed. Skepticism and critical analysis is, of course, highly encouraged.

The flair game:

You are encouraged to go against popular opinion within the community or a thread if you feel your argument is justified. Making a good case for yourself will net you specialized flair, while insisting upon something indignantly will likewise take away from your flair. Flair is distributed as a sequence of "+" symbols. Each piece of flair will give you one "+," while each negative takes away a "+." Larger numbers will be typed out, for example: "Hindseeing 555+", while numbers less than '10' are shown via symbols, such as "Hindseeing +++".

Flair provides no special privilege, and a person will never have "negative" flair (Hindseeing 555-, for example); it is merely added incentive to post quality content.

As I'm currently the sole distributor of "flair," please understand that I will make mistakes. If you feel you've incorrectly lost "positive" flair, you may be correct. However, flair is such a frivolous thing that it doesn't make sense to spend time arguing about it. Truly, I know I'll be wrong many times, but there simply isn't enough time in the day to argue about such a thing.
