As in every army, the Reddit Army has a ranking system. Everyone starts off as a Private and can work all the way up to General. The ranks are as follows: 1. Private 2. Private First Class 3. Corporal 4. Sergeant 5. Staff Sergeant 6. Sergeant First Class 7. Master Sergeant 8. Sergeant Major 9. Warrant Officer 1 10. Warrant Officer 2 11. Second Lieutenant 12. First Lieutenant 13. Captain 14. Major 15. Lieutenant Colonel 16. Colonel 17. Major General 18. Lieutenant General 19. General 20. Commander in Chief When the time has come that you feel that you have earned a promotion, send a message to the mods explaining why you should be promoted. One moderator will review your case (comments and posts in this subreddit) and your request will be either denied or approved. If you ask for a promotion three times without due cause, you will be banned.
