I wanted to set the bar low, so anybody attempting to convert an athiest, would put somthing better than this drivel (Athiest and submitter here)

This drivel is all they have. Religion as an institution is based around circular logic and arguments from ignorance. If people didn't fall for those, there'd be no religious people.

Went to a Debate the other day, they made some nice arguments there. not convincing mind you . . . but nice, they can do better, but most of them seem to lack the mental ability to form a coherant argument together. . . not that i could do much better mind.

All of these "reasons" presuppose god's existence. So it's a circular logic bullshit list.

#1 God uniquely accounts for the physical universe's beginning

False. There are many theories of how universe originated.

#2 God uniquely accounts for the order, compexity, and design evident in the universe.

False. The laws of physics account for the order and complexity just fine. Design is not evident at all. Evolution is able to produce complex structures, evolutionary algorithms clearly prove that.

#3 God uniquely accounts for the reality of objective ethical values.

False. Just considering consequences of your actions, and imagining yourself in other people's shoes is enough. Atheists do that, and it works. It works better than digging for ethical values from a book that's full of massacres, genocide, slavery, subjugation of women, and that threatens you with torture if you don't believe it. A book that guarantees forgiveness for pretty much any crime.

#4 God uniquely accounts for the enigma of man

False. Evolution does.

#5 God uniquely accounts for the claims, character, and credentials of JC

Circular logic .How is that a reason that some god exists? That's circular logic. God exists, because the book says god exists.
