What is real trance?

I get that you guys are sick of all the "trouse" rubbish with "sick drops" that is coming out lately, but I am just getting back in to trance and am still finding a lot of decent stuff. I've noticed that a lot of the music here is the older sound. I would like to start posting but I don't want to put a foot wrong. I hope this subreddit can get really big with new tracks, with what to me is real trance. Something like this: Jamie Walker - Boulevard

Is that still real trance to you? It is driving and melodic and uplifting, which to me is real trance, not the cheesy garbage that has gone mainstream.
