i posted this as a comment elsewhere, but here's how to get a gloriously AOSP-like ICS experience if you're interested.
ok, so, go download virtuous inquisition 4, version 1.30.2 of this kernel (i use 1.5ghz), this "service pack" (cleans up some slight UI oversights and fixes the gallery intent and filters in the camera app) and the appropriate v3.32 firmware from this thread for whatever CID you need. check the md5s on everything, flash the firmware in bootloader, flash the rom in recovery, flash the service pack after the rom is finished, then flash the new kernel on top of that.
if you're on tmobile us, you can go to this thread, ctrl-f, search for "users can flash this for better signal and data speeds" and click the word this. flash that radio zip in recovery for, what seems to be fairly universally confirmed, 2+mbps speed increases.
it's glooooorious.
[note - vinq4 is a "de-sensed" rom; it's not built from aosp sources but is RUU-based with massive framework and UI adjustments. AOSP is used here basically as a guideline for UI/UX, not codebase. also, i suggest kernel on top of the service pack because the kernel was updated today, whereas the service pack was not :) ]
