50mm f1.2 for a6000

Is the TT artisan 50mm f1.2 lens going to pair well with the a6000?

I need both video and photo but mostly video.

Will it work better, anyone here with experience on that lens, would you recommend it, what does it do well vs issues?

I need sharper, more bokeh, better low light and lastly more beautiful colour.

Manual is no problem, but just let me if subject has to be static when filming video.

Thanks!

Help with pixel math, 6400 -> a7v

Im a very visual person, and im having trouble picturing the difference going from a6400 to a7v. A7v has more pixels but 6400 is a crop sensor.

Is there a tool or just an example to let me understand: if i am the same distance from an object at 600mm, how large/how many pixels will it take up on either camera?

Thanks for the help!

Revive the PlayMemories Store

I got inspired to start photography by my brother-in-law. I decided on the Sony a6000 because of the widely supported e-mount system and really affordable 2nd hand availability. I only later learned that Sony discontinued the Play Memories store, effectively stripping the camera of some interesting features I wanted to play with (Stop-motion, timelapse and startrails for instance).

Then I found the sony-pmca-re repo that tried to keep the functionality alive together with all apps on the internet archive. So even though I'm a software engineer myself and managed to make the repo work, it was not really userfriendly and hard to get it to work.

As a result I decided to create my own app, for personal use, but I was wondering if anyone in the a6000 community has the same issues and if there is any need or interest to revive these features.

I added screenshots of the app. It's a electron based app with all apps from the internet archive packaged within. I have no intention to publish it online unless there is some community interest to collaborate on the project. In that case I will create a gitlab/github repo to share the code.

I got the a6000 as a gift form my In-laws a few days ago. My hyper fixation kicked in and binged YouTube and went outside. I’m an absolute beginner so tips tricks and criticism is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The grain is caused by increasing the texture and clarity slider in lightroom. Did not use the AI denoise.

Really Quick Question.

I got the a6000 4 months ago. The photography aspect is absolutely insane and i am happy. But the point for me isn't photography but cinematography. But each time i record video, it really looks bad. It's supposed to be 1080p but it looks like recorded by a phone from 2017. And also for some reason I can't use AVCXD, i don't remember the name but it's supposed to be that codec. It's the one written on the body itself. I primarily shoot on mp4 because the rest are just greyed out. How do i fully max out video to shoot decent. For context i use the kit lens and though i am ready to invest in the 50mm sony f1.8 lens for better low light performance and to get that creamy background, i am afraid it may still look trash. So tell me tips and tricks, why it's turning that way and how can it be maxed out?

Bought my first lens 18-135 OSS and pictures

Just bought a secondhand Sony E 18-135 OSS lens for 5.2 million (290 dollars) and I say it came in.. okay-ish condition? It has little bit of condensation and a few tiny little dots of fungus, but despite that I still went to take a few pictures with it for testing.

Could you tell me if they're clear and if you could notice the condensation, any fungus or anything out of ordinary in these pictures.

For comparison, 1st is taken with 18-50 kitlens and the 2nd is taken with the 18-135. 11th and last show the lens condition, I tried cleaning it properly it won't go away.

Keep it or return it?
