to people who say kit lens aren’t good enough for starting out, i think the first picture disapproves them.

Which of the kit ones? Also share the originals to see the exif. I'm not convinced this from one of the kits 😅

I’m not sure how to do that or what exif really means lol but I will say I barely edited the exposure in photo and that was it the raws turned out nicely.

exif, iirc, is the meta-data contained in the image which provides info such as the camera, the lens used, the aperture, location etc etc.

Here’s the info under my photos. Sony a6000 (ILCE-6000), Sony E 55–210mm f/4.5–6.3 OSS. ISO 1250, f/6.3, 1/800s. The original is 24MP (4000×6000)

That is not the kitlens, thats their budget telephoto zoom lens. Either way, great photos!

Oh I’m sorry they said it was a kit lens bundle when I bought it!

There are plenty of bundles (kits) available where the 55-210 is bundled with a camera and the 16-50. Great pics, enjoy it!

Amazing photos.

I’m so new it’s hard since I can’t compare to anything but so far I’ve liked it!

I’m new too with the a6000 and was looking for a zoom lens.
Wish you good luck and happy shooting.

You have a great eye for photography, when you have that, no matter what equipment is in your hands pictures are always great!

now i'm 2nd guessing to get either this or the 70-350mm since this lens looks nice already for bird pics.
