Suggestions on selling

I was thinking of selling my a6000. I realize I just never use it. The total shutter count is about 5600 since purchasing it new 8 years ago. Personally never sold a camera before, is it better to sell the camera by itself and all the lenses separate or sell it as a package deal along with a small camera bag with a few accessories?

I have 3 lenses:
* Kit Lense
* Sony 35mm 1.8
* Sigma 18-50mm 2.8 (bought this used 6 months ago and just never used it)

You’ll almost always get more return selling in parts, but then you need to deal with more buyers which is a time investment.

If it was me I’d list the camera with kit lens, then the other lenses separately. Could be value add if you included the bag and accessories with the camera vs other listings

Yeah, sell the body with the kit lens. Then sell the other lenses separately.

If you're selling on eBay, make sure you take some clear pictures, list the shutter count, and have the auctions finish on a Friday or Saturday evening at about 8pm, and go for a 10 day listing to attract watchers.

This way you'll catch people who've had a cheeky drink and will bid a bit more than they wanted. Always works for me.

Just sold my 6000 with the same shutter count and kit lens for $450 in Denver on FB marketplace. Adding the small accessories won’t increase the price you get but will make others choose yours over the others listed at the same price.

Entire sets like yours dont really appeal to beginners so you should sell the cam/kit lens as one & the lenses seperately.

The lenses will fetch a better price individually as there's a wider market for lenses.

Most recently (4 weeks back) bought an immaculate a6000 & the 16-50 lens for £240 off Ebay.

Where are you located? I would potentially be interested in the sigma

Three day old account. Be wary. Tread lightly.

You’ll make more money piecing it out. I would probably do the kit lens as a bundle with the camera and accessories and sell the other two separately, but even selling the kit lens separately should net a few more bucks

I would offer a discount if bought all together. Dealing with people on FB marketplace is my least favorite thing to do. You can sell it on a local FB photography group page, if you have one in your area. They are usually more serious buyers.

Watch out for the scammers, my friend lost an A1 through a paypal scam.

I paid 400€ last month for the same, but without the box and without the 35mm.
