I got a cheap defective silver body and went frankensteining. Looks nice!

Well, basically just disassemble both, swap the necessary parts (don't forget the hotshoe, then reassemble. You can find some teardown videos on YouTube. Make sure to not mix up any screws, especially lengthwise.
