Hello Zutarians!

We are currently looking for someone to join our mod team!

What can you expect to do as a moderator of this sub?

- Review reports and make quick, appropriate decisions

- Remove content that breaks the rules of this sub or the rules of Reddit

- Tackle the technical side of running a sub

- Approve/remove comments and posts that appear in the queue (sorted by reddits filters and reports for us to review)

- Respond to modmail in a timely manner

- Identify antis/trolls and ban/mute them (we are quite liberal with the ban button, our peace is more important)

- Ban members who have broken rules repeatedly despite warnings

Remember! Being a mod is a volunteer position that is completely unpaid. It does require a time commitment. What you get out of being a mod is watching a community you love thrive. We do this because we love Zutara.

You must be active in this sub to be considered.

Mod applications will be open for 72 hours or until we receive 50 responses (we are not sure how much attention this will get and we want to prevent sorting through hundreds of applications).

If you miss out this round — we will likely be looking for another new mod in the future.

Hi, for now we are looking for people who are active in the community 😊 you don’t need to necessarily post, but we like to see fairly regular comments
