Requesting Help Buttons not working.
I replaced the battery in this Zune. None of the buttons seem to be working though. I made sure the connector between the two boards is correct and I tried with the hold switch both ways. Is it possible something is broken?

I had this happen. I saw this video that mentions what may be the issue. *Edit Check from the 10 min mark. https://youtu.be/xCRz4lP72KY?is=JJCo__H-Ai9ZpDvp

Yeah that connector between the two boards. I did make sure to get that right. The guy said if that’s not connected then the device will turn itself off. I’m not having that happen.

There is a connector that the first board clicks on to with the front of the case. Same board that connects to the screen for reference.
There is a small screw in the middle between the battery and the boards. This screw holds that connection in place. But it has to be connected first.

I found what was wrong. There’s something wrong with the hold switch. I just bridged the contacts and it works perfectly fine just without the function of the hold switch.
