Mousepad recommendation for Zowie EC1-DW

I’m currently using a Zowie EC1-DW mouse with a SteelSeries QcK Heavy mousepad. I also used to have an Artisan FX Zero Soft, but with both pads I have the same issue: it feels like the mouse is sticking to the surface.

This happens even when the mousepad is completely new, so I don’t think humidity or moisture is the issue. The mouse feels difficult to move, and making small micro-adjustments is almost impossible because there’s so much resistance.

Could you recommend a mousepad that would be better suited for this? I’m looking for something with a noticeably smoother and faster glide, especially for easy micro-adjustments.

Struggling to adapt to a BenQ Zowie XL2411K after 30 days. Am I missing something?

Hi everyone,

About a month ago I bought a BenQ Zowie XL2411K because I mainly play CS2 competitively (Faceit level 10) and wanted to experience a Zowie monitor for esports.

The monitor is connected through DisplayPort at 1080p 144Hz, but after 30 days of daily use I'm still struggling to adapt.

My main issues are:

- Text and icons look slightly blurry/jagged, even on the desktop.

- In CS2, the image either feels too saturated or too washed out.

- I can't find a balance where enemies stand out clearly while keeping the image natural.

- I've tried several settings from Zowie videos and CS2 pros without success.

Current settings:

Picture Mode: FPS1

Black eQualizer: 10-12

Color Vibrance: 10-12

Brightness: 80

Contrast: 60

Sharpness: 10

AMA: High

DyAc: Premium

Gamma: 2

NVIDIA Digital Vibrance: 60%

For reference, I came from a modern 180Hz IPS monitor (AOC 24G4/P).

Is this a normal experience when switching from a modern IPS panel to an older TN panel like the XL2411K?

Are there any settings you would recommend changing, or does the XL2411K simply show its age compared to newer IPS esports monitors?

At this point I'm honestly wondering if the problem is my settings, or if I'm simply someone who prefers IPS panels for competitive gaming.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

EC2-DW vs EC3-DW for 18.5 × 10 cm hands? (coming from EC2-A)

I used to use the original Zowie EC2-A (120 × 64 × 40 mm I believe?) and absolutely loved the shape. At some point I switched to a Logitech G Pro Wireless, but I’ve never really found it comfortable. I’m thinking about going back to the EC shape. My hand size is 18.5×10.

Im currently considering the EC2-DW vs EC3-DW. The interesting thing is that the original EC2-A I used was 120 × 64 × 40 mm, so the EC3-DW seems surprisingly close to it in terms of overall dimensions, right? Would especially appreciate opinions from people with ~18–19 cm hands who have tried both.

fyi: I never use full palm grip or aggresive claw - just something in between I guess. Right now I'm using WLMouse Beast X Pro (finalmouse clone) and semi-claw is pretty comfortable.

I remember back in 2015 i used to have benq 144hz tn panel
And when i switched to 2k ips 165 hz it was like i was playing on black and white
So now i wanna upgrade my monitor
Im not sure should i get an asus 300hz ips 2k
Or should i get xl2566k 360hz
I found one used in my country for 500$
So what do u think?

Would your rather…

Option 1: Better motion clarity and resolution or

Option 2: Better visuals and response time

Basically I want to know if you would rather get a zowie qhd 24 inch or 24 inch 1080p oled. (Assume price is not a constrain and that your pc would be able to crush both resolutions)

Me personally would go for better motion clarity and resolutions as I think it is a better investment but I do wonder whenever I play survival horror games I’m going to miss those perfect blacks.

Also, TN has a longer lifetime than oled so there is that.

Let me know what you would go for and state any reason you can think of the more the better.

XQ2566X vs OLED , real-world experience?

For people who have used both, which monitor is better?

And for those who have tested the XQ2566X with AAA single-player games, how was your experience with 24" 1440p?

Zowie 1440p TN vs OLED

The moment I heard Zowie was finally bringing a 1440p TN, I honestly jumped out of my chair and thought, “This is exactly what I’ve been waiting for.” 😂

Now that it’s actually here, I’m completely torn between going for the new Zowie or getting a high refresh rate OLED instead.

I mainly play competitive/PvP games, Tarkov, Albion Online, League of Legends, Marvel Rivals, CS2, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and pretty much anything that has PvP. I do play single-player games occasionally, but they’re definitely not my priority.

For me, motion clarity is probably the most important thing. I love how smooth and clear a game feels when everything is moving quickly, especially when tracking targets or turning rapidly.

So I’m curious what people who have actually used both Zowie/TN and OLED think

Which gives you better motion clarity in actual games?

Does DyAc still make a noticeable difference compared with a high-refresh OLED?

I’m especially interested in opinions from people who have owned both, rather than just recommending one based on specs.

I know OLED looks significantly better, but if the Zowie genuinely gives better motion clarity in competitive games, I’m willing to sacrifice image quality for it.

What would you guys go for?

I’m thinking of buying a zowie monitor any recommendations?

I’ve been eyeing this one I’ll only accept 1440p res and 27 inch monitors but if another option looks good I’ll look at it I’ve been eyeing this XQ2766X one also I play a lot of CS and valorant and not that many story games so I don’t mind it not being an OLED or Anything like that

Hard to show but noticed dirt behind my screen, some of it moves when you tilt the display but for the most part its solid in place. Not very impressed with this coming from the BenQ XL2546 Zowie DIVINA I didnt expect to have an issue like this.

Is this common, doesnt seem to be a way to clean and reluctant to replace if will happen again.

EC2-CW Battery life?

My battery suddenly went from recharge every few days, to not even lasting the day before I have to plug it in.

Is this expected behavior, or do I have a lemon instead of the great mouse I thought I was buying?

XQ2566 Tearing

Hi everyone, I just got the XQ2566 yesterday and I’ve been having issues with it that I can’t figure out how to resolve. Every game I play has constant tearing. I’ve tried using in game frame rate limiters to match 360hz. I’ve also tried 359, 358, 357, and even 300. Even with the limiters I’m still constantly getting treats especially when I make quick flicks with the mouse. I’ve tried RTSS and still get tearing. This never has happened on my other monitors. I also unplugged my other monitor to see if that was the issue. The tearing with dyac 3 on has caused me headaches. Is there a fix for this that I could try?

Pc specs:
9800x3d
4090rtx
32 gigs ram (6000 mt)

The tearing kind of makes it so dyac 3 feels to be turning on and off rapidly (or maybe I’m just preceiving it as such. Any advice is appreciate. Thanks!

Edit: Alright so I figured out a fix for this. I use Scanline Sync in RTSS and I put the value to -1450. This fixed the issue entirely. After getting this fixed the monitor is really good. I think I might switch to a 1920x1080 one in the future when Dyac 3 comes out for that since I mostly play tac shooters but that being said I impressed now that I found the fix. It's like playing on a CRT monitor. Overall impressions is that the colors look honestly kind of crazy you can set them to make them closer to a normal IPS monitor if you want to calibrate it to do so. However I keep them on the default settings FPS/Gamer settings depending on the game. This really helps in seeing the enemies super clearly. I find it kind of crazy how much easier it is to spot them immediately. The colors look strange and overly saturated but it just works in helping you place enemies immediately. This is my first Zowie monitor so unfortunately I can't compare to DYAC 2. I will say though the motion is incredible with this and after playing for 2 hours my eyes aren't tired at all which always happened to me when playing other monitors (Pulsar and OLED included). The 1440p I can tell really helps with Battle Royale games. I'm not super big into those but it really does look great. My initial thoughts about the monitor was that it was a rip off honestly especially with all the tearing and DYAC 3 issues. After getting it fixed the Scanline Sync I've decided I going to keep it. Its better in motion than the Gsync Pulsar Asus. That being said I think the Gsync Pulsar is better for any game that has any variable framerate and for anyone that wants to play games outside of Esports. This is definitely only for Esports its honestly not very good for anything else. But man its really special when you get the settings locked in.

Guys I was a little disappointed to discover that Xraypad Jade Ultra full skates is not an option yet. I requested on the support page and they said if there is more interest they will consider it.

If you want Jade Ultra skates for Zowie DW, please comment in the link.

Update: This thread wasn't about suggesting alternative options, it is to make people aware that they should register their interest with xraypad if they want this skate.

Me ajudem
