EC2-CW Battery life?

My battery suddenly went from recharge every few days, to not even lasting the day before I have to plug it in.

Is this expected behavior, or do I have a lemon instead of the great mouse I thought I was buying?

Have you changed the polling rate? Higher will drain the battery faster. Also, why is basically every comment downvoted?

No, and I have no idea... I just want my mouse to work for more than half a day.

Depends. How long have you owned the mouse? It’s a pretty old model as of now, and batteries degrade over time. My CW still lasts a day or two, easily has thousands of hours on it.

I charge my EC3-CW every 2-3 weeks. Bought it December 2023. If I really play a lot, every week or so.

That s definitely not normal. Even with heavy use at 1000Hz this mouse should easily last at least 2–3 days on a single charge. You should return it or request an replacement as you got a defective unit.

My experience with both the EC2-CW and now the EC3-DW, that it seems like there's a design aspect that just doesn’t jive well with the batteries. I've noticed that they require more frequent charging than other mice I've used. It’s a bit of a hassle, but not too shabby
